Safety Nets in Brazil

Apr 18, 2012 - Many countries have made enormous progress in recent years in providing safety nets to their people. But there is still a long way to go to take care of the needs of the poor.  Now, during the World Bank/IMF Spring Meetings, leaders of the world are going to address this crucial problem.

But what are Safety Nets Programs. Who needs them? How do they work? These are some of the questions that we are going to explore during our mini-series on social protection. We start our trip in Brazil.
