Development Marketplace 2006

May 10, 2006 - In this year's Development Marketplace, a total of US$5 million has been awarded to 30 innovative projects aimed to deliver results at the community level to improve people's access to clean water, sanitation and energy.

Development Marketplace is a competitive grant program of the World Bank aimed at funding small scale development projects. This year's 30 winners were selected from 118 finalists from around the globe.
